Ok so as we come up on Halloween and start playing our scariest song ‘Thriller”. What do you think is the scariest movie of all time? I know it’s a debate that will never end. For some, scary movies died with Alfred Hitchcock and his Twilight Zone type mysterious eerie touch in movies like Psycho and The Birds. For others, if it not gory…there’s no glory.  So no one can win this argument. I think the movie that scared you the most depends not only on the movie’s content, but your own age, life experience, and state of mind when you saw it. So here is mine. No doubt who wins The Exorcist (73) Jeez, still today I would be scared to death to interview Linda Blair thinking the devil might jump off her and come into me. Another great scary movie is Jack Nickolas and The Shining (80).” Whether it’s the creepy twin girls, the chase through the hedge maze or RED RUM— the shining was creepy scary.  Halloween (78) revolutionized the horror movies and I loved Jamie Lee Curtis as she stakes her claim as one of the great scream queens as the teenage babysitter who must face homicidal maniac Michael Myers head on. “Halloween” managed to make the spookiest day of the year even scarier. I admit the impact of “Halloween” has been somewhat diminished over the years by all its own sequels and remakes. For gore its Texas Chain Saw Massacre (74) made us all thing twice about driving down a dark scary road. And respect to “Freddy” and Nightmare on Elm Street (84) kept me up all night many times afraid to close my eyes. Let me say that although scary Alien films are science-fiction, not horror. But the space setting makes them even more chilling. Did love the original film’s famed slogan “In space, no one can hear you scream. Amityville Horror (78) was down right scary. When I get mad I can still scare people when I say ‘Get Out! Get Out! The Pig in the window, the rocking chair rocking. It’s so close to home. Viewers may not be able to relate to acid-blooded aliens in space, or a masked serial killer, or an elevator full of blood. But who hasn’t been alone in a dark bedroom and heard an unidentifiable thump downstairs? Or seen a door standing open that you could swear was firmly closed a minute ago? It’s always the dark things we cannot see that scare us more than those we can. I can also remember as a kid being scare by The Blob and The Creature from the Black Lagoon. As an adult it’s harder to get scared but Saw and The Ring were good. And I can’t leave out one I just remembered that scared us all. Some of you still won’t go too far into the water from the Beach because of…Jaws (75

Yep it’s true Elton and Ms Gaga recorded an original duet for a new animated Disney movie. But the topic of the song isn’t about letting the Sun Go Down On Me, or the Pa Pa Pa Paparazzi, the duet is dedicated to a magical gnome. His name – no kidding – is Gnomeo.  The track, Hello, Hello, will appear on the soundtrack to…are you ready Gnomeo and Juliet, a Disney

film due in February 2011. As you may have guessed, this is the tale of two pointy-hatted lovers, both of whom normally reside on garden lawns. If this idea seems absurd, Elton gets it who in addition to recording the soundtrack, is one of the film’s producers. Gnomeo and Juliet, with gnomes voiced by James McAvoy and Emily Blunt. Michael Caine, Stephen Merchant and Ozzy Osbourne. The film is a long-time “passion project” for John who has worked on the movie for more than a decade

CHARLIE BROWN you can stop searching because CHRIS STEVENS of New Richmond, WI, grew a humongous pumpkin that weighed in at just over 1,800 pounds and the folks at Guinness say that’s a world record for the heaviest pumpkin.

The circumference is more than 15 feet.
The secret: A precise mixture of sunshine, rain, cow manure, fish emulsion and seaweed.

You turn off the Yankees game and still hear boo-ing.

You wake up at night and the sheets are hovering over the bed (either that or stop eating so many beans).

You look in the mirror and see an old, pale, decrepit… oh, wait! That’s me.

The toilet seat is up again (you gotta really sell that one)

So yesterday we announced the new addition to the Brees family and today we got the official work from Drew Brees says he and his wife Brittany that they have agreed on a name for their second son, and it’s Bowen Christopher Brees. It was perfect timing, I’m thinking this was planned because instead of Drew being away or playing a game he had the day off and was there for the birth. Everyone is doing fine and now hopefully like last year after the Superbowl win, this year he can hold both boys in his arms as he celebrates our repeat Superbowl Win.

Hate to sound like a TMZ headline but the buzz is all about Taylor Swift and the John Mayer rumors. Did Taylor sings about their relationship on her new song, “Dear John,” from her forthcoming album, “Speak Now.” So Taylor, 20 — by the way has been romantically linked to Mayer, 33, last year while collaborating on his song, “Half of My Heart” — Great song by the way. Here are some of the lyrics:

Dear John

“I see it all now that you’re gone Don’t you think I was too young To be messed with The girl in the dress Cried the whole way home I should’ve known. “It was wrong Don’t you think nineteen’s too young To be played By your dark, twisted games When I loved you so.”My mother accused me of losing my mind But I swore I was fine You’ll add my name to your long list of traitors Who don’t understand And I’ll look back in regret I ignored what they said ‘Run as fast as you can.

So Taylor hasn’t stated whether the song is about Mayer. But she didn’t deny it. Here’s what she did say about the song. “My lyrics are all made very clear. Every single song is like a roadmap to what that relationship stood for, with little markers that maybe everyone won’t know, but there are things that were little nuances of the relationship, little hints. And every single song is like that. Everyone will know, so I don’t really have to send out emails on this one.”

So what do you think?

A Very Pregnant 42 year old Celine Dion was admitted to a hospital in Florida on Saturday night for observation at the recommendation of her doctors. She has been admitted to prevent the early delivery of her babies, which is the standard of care for any patient with twin pregnancy in this clinical setting. This is done to ensure the patient can be in close contact with their doctors and clinical resources, leading up to their birth,” a rep for the hospital said in a statement to Access. She is not scheduled at any predetermined date for her delivery. A rep for the singer said she would remain in the hospital in Florida until she gives birth. She is expecting twin boys with husband Rene. The babies are due in November.
