Here are some good pranks to play on April Fool Day

Crossed Wires

Either late on March 31st or very early on April 1st sneak into a shared office and unplug two phones and re-plug them in with the lines crossed. Both victims will go nuts trying to figure out why they’re getting each others’ calls.

The Walls Have Eyes

Buy a bunch of googly eyes from a craft store and stick them everywhere all over a person’s desk.

Stop the Calls

If the victim has a phone with a hook that presses down when the handset is in the cradle, tape it down. When he or she answers a call it will keep ringing.

Document Panic

Has your victim been working on an important document on their computer? Carefully hide the document in a safe place, then create a fake document with the same name. Fill the document with gobbledy-gook or a funny story. At the bottom put “April Fool’s!”

Embarrassing Find

Sneak onto your victim’s computer and do a Google search for something really embarrassing (hemorrhoids, gender reassignment surgery, butt pimples, etc.). Leave the results window open for all to see!

Stuck in a Rut

Use string or wire to tie your victim’s drawer shut. (You’ll need to remove the drawer above to access the back so you can accomplish this.)

Did You Call Me?

If you have an office phone system that allows conference calling, you can prank two people at once. Call the first victim’s extension, then very quickly call the second victim and push the conference button. Now both people will think the other person called them and will begin arguing over who called whom!

Time Off Trickery

Coordinate everyone in your office to play a practical joke on your boss. Throughout the day, each person should email, voicemail or leave a note for the boss, saying they need extended time off. Each person should give a different explanation: pregnancy, sick family member, etc.

Invisible Ink

Go into the victim’s office and locate every pencil and pen in their desk. Paint the tips with clear nail polish. When they try to write, none of them will work. (After the prank is revealed, the nail polish can be removed by dipping the pens and pencils in polish remover.)

Take the Call

Use glue to secure the victim’s handset to the phone (be sure to use glue that can be removed…check the label first because some glue will destroy plastic). Then go to a nearby phone, call their number and watch while they lift the entire phone to their ear.

Totally Labeled

Place post-it notes on every item on someone’s desk labeling what each thing is. EVERY ITEM. Vintage office prank.

Can You Do It

If he has an overhead bin style cabinet, layer the bottom with paper, then attach the paper to the door (with tape or something) so it comes out when the door to the cabinet is open. Then fill it with empty soda cans. When he opens the door to his cabinet, viola, all the cans will come crashing out and it will be most embarrassing for him.

No Comprende

Borrow the victim’s cell phone when they aren’t around and change the language setting to a foreign language. Then watch and laugh as they struggle to translate the setting instructions on their phone.

So my son stepped on his laptop in his room which makes sense because there is so much cloths and trash on his floor how would you ever see a laptop. But anyway he had the money to get a new one so we ordered a DELL which I regret, because they charged me tax on the internet. I could have gone down the street and got a better deal at Best Buy, whatever. But besides the cracked screen it’s a really good computer. It got me thinking how many old cell phones, computers, printers and monitors I have stuck in closets around the house. So what to do with them. I mean with technological advances happening so quickly these days, you probably have a stash of old cellphones, video game players and other electronic devices cluttering up your house too.  Now you can get good money for many of them from online companies such as NextWorth.com and Gazelle.com.  A used iPhone (depending on age, condition and model) could net you $200.  When you go to the websites and list what you have, you receive an offer.  If you accept it, you get a check, PayPal credit or gift card.  Your electronics are refurbished and resold, or recycled.  A word of caution, though – be sure to delete all the personal data from any device you sell.

She was a star at age 12, a bride and a divorcee at 18, a superstar at 19 and a widow at 26. In all, she was married eight times — twice to Richard Burton. She was always classy and beautiful and one of my favorites because she was like one of the last of the old-fashioned movie stars. Elizabeth Taylor died today surrounded by her four children of congestive heart failure at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles. She had been hospitalized for about six weeks. Elizabeth Taylor was 79.      Her son, Michael Wilding, says his mother was “an extraordinary woman who lived life to the fullest, with great passion, humor, and love.” He says “her spirit will always be with us.”

A private family funeral is planned later this week.

No big deal right. It’s just Brad and the fam walking to the store. Actually one thing brad and Angelina say they love about the city is they can walk around without a mob surrounding them. Guess cause is the big easy. But someone did click a pic of all six of Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt’s kids together in one shot which is pretty rare. The kids, from left, Vivienne, 2, Shiloh, 4, Knox, 2, Zahara, 6, Pax, 7, and Maddox, 9, are show walking in the quarter looks like maybe Royal street. They were coming from the Verti market which is a great deli and grocery. Brad bought a place in the quarter back in 2007 when he filmed “The Curious Case of Benjamin Button,” and the family has since made several trips back to our city and of course Brad is heavily involved in the 9th wards Make it Right foundation since Katrina.

So I talk to my friends and family more now on facebook but are more and more of us are spending less and less face time with our friends and family because of that. I just saw this new poll of 1,000 adults by Esure, an insurance company, 41% of couples said they were more likely to text, e-mail, or use a social-networking site to relay message to their partners than speak in person.  Efficient?  Sure.  But it doesn’t allow for an emotional connection, says relationship expert Ian Kerner, Ph.D, “Peoples may become detached, which can lead to relationship strife,” he says.  Instead, use technology to nab more face time. So every now and then remember to use texting or facebook to see people like… “How bout Lunch” or “R U free 2nite?”

The costume for the new Wonder Woman couldn’t get any tighter. The photo on the left is the new Wonder Woman, Adrianne Palicki. There are a lot of changes from what Lynda Carter (Photo on the right) wore in the original TV series. Adrianne has a forehead band that’s a little different from Lynda. She’s wearing a red bustier that’s so tight she’s spilling out over the top. Instead of wearing shorts like Lynda did , she’s wearing shiny blue skintight pants. They decided not the change the knee-high boots, but as you can see Adrianne’s are blue and Lynda’s were red.

No word on when this new Wonder Woman will make her debut on T.V.

Out with the old, in with the new: Wonder Woman in her original form, carrying her Lasso of Truth, and as she appears now with jacket and leggings.
