We are three quarters of the way through another year. Where did all the time go? It seems like we just celebrated a new year just a few months ago. By the way timing is everything when you are searching for the best deals what ever month we’re in.

According to a Financial survey September is a great month to buy Airline tickets. It says September is typically early enough to get a good price as well as a good seat for the upcoming holiday trip. Keep in mind that Wednesday is usually the cheapest day to fly, and Sunday is generally the most costly.

TOP 5 REASONS SEPTEMBER IS GOING TO BE A GREAT MONTH

1. Pro Football
2. College Football
3. High School Football
4. Kids are back in School

Ok, an easy question for you. Which city had the hottest temperatures this summer? Most people from around here would probably say New Orleans, but according to Forbes magazine Louisville gets that honor.

Forbes computed which cities have been the hottest by analyzing data from the National Oceanographic Atmospheric Administration to determine the most days above normal temperatures from June 1st to August 17th., and Louisville, Kentucky had a total of 73 days above normal.

Memphis was second with a total of 72 days.
Atlanta, 69 days.
Raleigh, 68 days.
New Orleans tied Raleigh with 68 days above normal high temperatures for the summer.

By the way as hot as it’s been in Louisville this summer, the city has yet to break the record for it’s all time hottest day of 107 degrees, which was set in 1936.
