Saints Quarterback Drew Brees wants to start a new tradition in the Superdome that he hopes will live on for decades after he’s gone. It’s a pre-game “Who Dat!” chant just after the coin toss before every Saints home game.

It’s something Saints fans have been doing for quite some time already, but not at this magnitude.

Click the audio below to hear what Drew Brees wants you to do.

The wait is over. The Saints start the huge task of trying to repeat as Superbowl Champions this Thursday night against the team they had to beat to get to the Superbowl last season, the Minnesota Vikings. The game starts at 7:00pm in the Superdome, but before that happens, there’s a big pre-game concert in Jackson Square featuring Taylor Swift and the Dave Matthews Band to get fans all excited about the game and the season. If you ask me I think the fans have been fired up since the draft.

The big question that has been circulating around the water cooler is can the Saints repeat? Only Seven teams have won back to back super bowls(Pittsburgh won back to back twice) and nobody has ever won three in row. The five keys to repeating Super Bowl wins are: A solid defense, a leader at quarterback, coaching leadership, a good running game, and a few lucky breaks. The Saints had all five last year.

Ok, an easy question for you. Which city had the hottest temperatures this summer? Most people from around here would probably say New Orleans, but according to Forbes magazine Louisville gets that honor.

Forbes computed which cities have been the hottest by analyzing data from the National Oceanographic Atmospheric Administration to determine the most days above normal temperatures from June 1st to August 17th., and Louisville, Kentucky had a total of 73 days above normal.

Memphis was second with a total of 72 days.
Atlanta, 69 days.
Raleigh, 68 days.
New Orleans tied Raleigh with 68 days above normal high temperatures for the summer.

By the way as hot as it’s been in Louisville this summer, the city has yet to break the record for it’s all time hottest day of 107 degrees, which was set in 1936.

It was macho movie versus chick flick over the weekend and the macho movie came out on top. “The Expendables” which stars Slyvester Stallone and a bunch of his action star buddies was the number one movie over the weekend bringing in $35-million dollars.

Julia Roberts chick flick, “Eat Pray Love” managed to pull in almost $24-million dollars for second place.

The cop comedy “The Other Guys” was third with $18-million.

And a milestone was reached this weekend. “Toy Story 3″ topped the $400-million dollar mark in ticket sales, and now joins “Shrek 2″ as the only animated movies ever to break $400-million dollars.
