The New Orleans Wine and Food Experience

When: Tuesday, May 24 through Saturday, May 28

What: A five-day festival of wine and food that benefits more than a dozen local charities.

Where: This year, the floor of the Hall J at the New Orleans Convention Center will be filled with 1,000 wines and 75 dishes. Held on Friday and Saturday, the tastings lasts three hours each day.

The New Orleans Wine and Food Experience is, perhaps, the largest local festival totally devoted to food and spirits. It was established as a nonprofit, and over two decades it has raised more than half a million dollars for local charities.
