The famous black and red jacket that Michael Jackson wore in the classic “Thriller” video has sold at auction for $1.8 million.

Darren Julien of Julien’s Auction was expecting to get anywhere from a quarter of a million to a half million for the jacket. The winning bidder was a commodities trader from Austin, Texas who say he will take the jacket on tour to raise money for children’s charities.
