So Tropical Storm Katia was gaining strength as it moved quickly across the Atlantic  today not a problem for us at all and  forecasters predict it could take a Northly turn and not hit the East coast at all. We hope so as they continue to deal with tha aftermath of Irene. So now we have KATIA. Wierd name huh? Well Storms are named years in advance and used over unless the name is retired after causing major damage. Are you following me?  The name KATIA was actually KATRINA to be used again. But of course that name was retired so when it came up on the list they dropped the R and the N (KATRINA). Interesting huh?
