Finish this, when the kick was good I…
Posted in: Steve
I’m hearing so many emotional stories of what happen to them the second they knew the Kick was good and the Saints were in the Superbowl. My wife and I held hands as he kicked it and as soon as it went through we screamed, hugged, cried and got the champagne out the fridge and headed outside to celebrate with the neighborhood which was going crazy. Please share your story…

I couldn’t believe the hysteria in my neighborhood either. It was so cool everybody was feeling the same way at the same time. Enjoy your show Steve.

Since you admitted it, Yes I cried like a baby too. I couldn’t help it, it just poured out. I think the last time I cried was after Katrina but this time it was tears of Joy.

I was at a big Saints Party here in Houston and we all screamed and jumped up and down, hugging and crying for at least 15 minutes. It was a great moment I’ll never forget. Love listening to Magic online Steve. Houston radio stinks.

One thing I noticed right away is it was hard getting a call in or out. Everyone must have been jamming the cell phone towers trying to talk to friends and family. Luv your name this week, Steve \The Saints Are In The Superbowl\ Suter

I’m actually a Saintsation and as the kick went through it was hard to see from the sideline but we knew it had to be good because of the crazy noise, the crowd was going nuts and some were trying to get onto the field but they had extra security around us. Then we ran onto the field with the team trying not to get trampled. Awesome, headed to Miami next week.

Ran to the bathroom b/c I knew it would be replayed and I wouldn’t miss anything. After all I had been holding it since the 9 minute mark of the 4th quarter.

When the Saints were kicking the field goal, I could barely watch and I held my breath. When I realized it was good I started jumping up and down, screaming, and crying. I still tear up when I think about it. I still can’t believe it! I enjoy your show, Steve!
